Global online payments via Stripe now available to Slovak medical practices
Technology company Stripe has been building online payment gateways and platforms for accepting payments since 2010. It has since expanded to 50 countries, and today more than 5 million businesses use its services. Among Slovak companies, these include GymBeam, Isadore, Fusakle and, more recently, Bonboneo.
Stripe, a modern payment gateway
Stripe, headquartered in San Francisco and Dublin, started out in 2010 with online card payments. Today it also offers advanced payment gateways, tools for subscriptions and invoicing, as well as fraud prevention.
For the end user, the biggest advantage remains fast and convenient payments – whether in person or online. With Stripe, customers can pay not only with their payment card but also with Apple Pay or Google Pay, comfortably and within seconds.
Cashless payments at the doctor’s office
